Prefectural Flower Center Ofuna Botanical Garden

Formally called Prefectural Flower Center Ofuna Botanical Garden, this flower center was opened in 1962 to promote the cultivation of foliage plants in Kanagawa on the present background which was a former site of the Kanagawa National Agricultural Experiment Stations. Collected from all over the nation, about 5,700 species are currently grown here and it is open to visitors throughout the year. The spacious garden is a nice place to drop by for family hikers.

* A regular holiday day is the next day of Monday and a public holiday. However, the case on Saturday or Sunday is opened.

20 or more years old 350 yen.
Less than 20 years old a student, 250 yen.
65 or more years old and below a high school student are no charge.
