Inamuragasaki Seaside Park

Inamuragasaki cape is famous for the warrior Nitta Yoshisada's legendary march into Kamakura city to overthrow the government; Judging it impossible to invade Kamakura from Gokurakuji Kiridoshi, Nitta Yoshisada threw his sword into the sea off the Inamuragasaki cape. The tide then suddenly began receding to make a path for his army to march into the Kamakura area. The park has an exquisite view of Sagami Bay with Mt. Fuji and Enoshima island in sight, which is on the list of Kanagawa's 50 most beautiful scenic spots. There are several monuments to visit.
